Tracy K. Foster, FNP-C

Tracy received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Lamar University in 1992. After graduating, she worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She gained experience in the areas of home health, neonatal intensive care, diabetes care, medical/surgical care and post-partum women’s health care. In 1998, Tracy became certified in diabetes education and worked at local hospital teaching clients about all aspects of diabetes care. She became involved in the community with the American Diabetes Association as well. Tracy also has experience in the business side of pharmaceuticals and worked as a representative for Takeda Pharmaceuticals selling diabetes products. In 2009, she became Director of Diabetes Education for 5 years at Baptist Hospital while going back to school at McNeese University to obtain her Master’s degree. She graduated in May 2013 with her Master’s degree focused as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After graduation, Tracy worked in the family setting at Southeast Texas Medical Associates until June 2017. At that time, she began her career at Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists in July 2017. Tracy has always had a passion for treating patients with cardiovascular problems as well as diabetes clients. Tracy and her husband Donald reside in Lumberton, Texas, with two daughters, Morgan and Anna. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, shopping, traveling and spending time with family.
